Fastening systems for architecture

The steel substructure and aluminum substructure are part of the facade mounting system AGS offers. AGS facade systems can be used for ventilated facades, clinker facades and heavy cladding. The methods of attaching facade cladding depend on the materials from which they are made.

Steel and aluminum substructure – elements of the facade fastening system

Facade claddings available on the market can be made of various materials, have various formats, textures and colors. Each of them must be properly attached, taking into account its specificity, e.g. fastening to a façade insulated with polystyrene. The mounting systems available in the AGS offer guarantee correct and durable mounting:

  • ventilated facades,

  • clinker facades,

  • heavy linings.

The system substructure for ventilated facades consists of a passive console and grates that allow for adjustments at the profile joints. Thanks to this, even on uneven building walls, installation is quick and efficient. The grates can be made of extruded aluminum alloy EN AW 6063 / EN AW 6060 / EN AW 6005 or of profiled elements made of S320 GD black steel, covered with an innovative Magnelis® metallic coating. Among others we offer: passive system for riveted boards, glued boards, wooden substructures, suspended on rear-cut anchors, hanger or basic systems.

Clinker facade mounting systems act as brackets for three-layer walls. They are used to transfer the weight of the facing wall to the supporting structure of the building. Unlike aluminum facade systems, they are made of stainless steel or carbon steel with a Magnelis® anti-corrosion coating.

Fastening systems for heavy cladding are used when installing facade cladding: concrete, stone or granite. Their use is intended to transfer the weight of the cladding to the building structure.

The aluminum substructure has a lower price, and the steel one with a Magnelis® metallic coating is the most competitive solution on the market in terms of quality and cost. It is characterized by corrosion resistance up to class C5 and fire resistance up to 120 minutes. Fire resistance was checked, among others: through research at the Institute of Building Technology.
